Hansgrohe – Axor Shower Sphere

AXOR ShowerSpere by Antonio Citterio presented its unique, elliptical design at the ISH. The generous shower jet has a low shower flow but still offers a luxurious shower experience. The design blends into almost any bathroom environment and can be perfectly combined with products from the entire AXOR portfolio.

“The basic idea behind AXOR ShowerSphere was to develop a comprehensive product portfolio that offers a luxurious shower experience while saving water and meeting a variety of needs. AXOR ShowerSphere is born from the same ethos as my other designs for AXOR and can be combined with almost all AXOR collections. This means that the entire bathroom can be created in a uniform design language, while at the same time fulfilling very different technical requirements. We call this concept “Family Feeling”,” says Antonio Citterio.

The design consists of a monolithic, elliptical body with bevelled edges, which is complemented by a rosette and a shower arm with a minimalist softsquare look. The integrated FlexPower technology uses elastic nozzles to adjust the water flow and pressure in order to optimise spray performance and increase water efficiency. The different spray types, which also include the standard Rain spray type and the gentle PowderRain spray type for 2-spray variants, ensure a luxurious shower experience.

The entire programme is available with standard and low flow rates from 12 l/min to 6 l/min and in numerous AXOR FinishPlus PVD surfaces. The programme includes the wall-mounted overhead shower with two spray types and the movable shower arm, a ceiling-mounted 2-jet overhead shower, a ceiling-mounted 1-jet overhead shower in two sizes and a wall-mounted 1-jet overhead shower in two sizes.
