Alberto and Francesco Meda present Ellissea, a collection of showerheads for Zucchetti, where essential and sophisticated shapes meets innovation. Once again, the collaboration between father and son, between two generations of designers, leads to a project distinguished by originality and refinement.
Ellissea features two distinct and complementary models: a showerhead with a 250 mm diameter and a more compact 80 mm version. These reinterpret the flow of water through fluid and elegant shapes inspired by the lenticular drop, characteristic of dew.
The geometry of these objects is based on a rotating ellipsoid, a dynamic shape that perfectly interacts with the movement of water toward the nozzles. Despite presenting a simple circular base, the overall volume is designed to create a new, tapered, sleek, and harmonious silhouette, typical of the Meda design language.
Made of AISI 316L stainless steel with high-precision molding and machining techniques, the showerheads of the Ellissea collection provide a regenerating rain jet with limited flow, offering versatility ideal for high-end bathroom environments.
