The Hotel Interiors Experience (HIX) took place in London last week. It is a one-stop shop for the latest trends and ideas. Representing the entire hotel design supply chain from fabric suppliers to bathroom brands including, amongst others, Crosswater, Laufen, Gessi, Decor Walther, Astro Lighting and Flair. HIX is used as a platform to showcase the latest ideas and releases from these industry leading brands.
In this Bathrooms In Focus we thought we’d take a look. Enjoy!
A brand we love partnering with on our hotel projects Crosswater showcased their new MPRO Module Push and MPRO Push Shower Valves.
Presenting the latest in luxury showering technology, featuring a sleek, minimalist design. Both “Push” brassware collections elevate any showering space.
The guiding theme at HIX this year was ‘A sense of place’ exploring how hotels can tap into the unique potential of the buildings they occupy.
Astro’s newest lighting designs, including the stunning Burlington and Tacoma Pendant lights reflect this concept, offering elegant, high quality products that complement the aesthetics of any space.
Tradition Meets Innovation / Aluminium Meets Porcelain
Decor Walther brought their new OF.LINE bathroom accessories collection by Sebastian Herkner to HIX. Featuring an exciting mix of materials: a dynamic blend of innovatively crafted solid aluminium and handmade porcelain.
As a leader in the wellness world, Gessi reaffirmed its ability to transform the bathroom into a space dedicated to luxury and personal awareness, combining design, innovation and Italian craftsmanship. HIX was the perfect stage to discover Gessi’s new offerings and experience an event that redefined the concept of living wellness.
At the Laufen booth, visitors were invited to experience Colour Archaeology in a thoughtfully curated room setting, with the presentation of a new colour palette built upon the culmination of an academic research project led by Roberto Sironi.
Together with the Laufen innovations team, it has been possible to offer a refined palette of harmonious tones, allowing designers to ground spaces in a rich historical context while providing sustainable, timeless design solutions that transcend fleeting trends.
