By | Newsletter

It’s that time of year again when all eyes in the bathroom world turn to the Salone del Mobile in Milan.

The core ideas of the 10th edition of the International Bathroom Exhibition was about new aesthetic and design languages, nature, responsibility, innovative materials and well-being. What we saw presented from the brands was a reflection of this evolution, so we thought Bathrooms In Focus should take a look. Enjoy!

Citterio C by Hansgrohe AXOR reinterprets brassware with a view to increasing comfort in smaller bathroom spaces. Minimalist in spirit, with soft contours and a sensuous shape, the brassware range invites touch with its distinctive detail: a subtle bevel surrounding the socket and lever handle.

Antonio Citterio explains: “I sensed the need for a new design language for the sink. The collection had to be streamlined and to become more compact, with a softness that spoke to our desire for comfort and a reduced materiality that reflected the contemporary imperative to create more with less. It had to fit every lifestyle, especially in terms of surface colors. Above all, the design of each piece had to last.”

Bathrooms In Focus – Zucchetti

By | Newsletter

Since it’s founding in 1929, Zucchetti has never stopped experimenting with form and function. Collaborating with famous professionals to generate a polyphonic language that embraces the ‘eye’ and style of new designers who ensure its brassware is unique.

Flawless design, know-how and history are crucial values for Zucchetti, resulting in a versatile product range that elegantly adapts to all project environments. And hence why we felt it needed a Bathrooms In Focus. Enjoy!

Zucchetti Medameda
Zucchetti Medameda
Zucchetti Medameda

An object with organic, flowing lines, never over designed, a piece that owes its universal appeal also to the interaction between the two generations of designers, father and son, that created it.

Medameda’s organic character appears to be the natural result of these synergies, translating into an efficient, long-lasting, reliable collection.

Zucchetti Octo

Zucchetti Octo

The Octo project was born with a very specific intent: to introduce a flat spout design entirely made of brass. The design was developed from the desire to add roundness to the product, a work that focused on the elements of the spout and handle, made extremely thin, and on balancing the proportions to give the collection a softer and less squared, yet very linear feeling.

Zucchetti Helm

Helm is the first line of steel taps launched by Zucchetti, both in single-lever and three hole versions.

The design has been enriched by the introduction of colours, textures, vertical ridges and knurling to expand and diversify the aesthetics of the product, making it simultaneously exquisite and highly-performing, brutalist and ultra-chic.

Zucchetti Pan

Lightness and simplicity are the hallmark characteristics of the Pan collection of versatile tap systems featuring an extraordinarily broad range of models.

The simple design of these products stands in sharp contrast to the infinite array of original compositional possibilities.

Zucchetti Isy

Isy is a system that speaks the language of simplicity: it is not an effort of design but an idea which flows from water’s own creativity and follows its plastic forms. Beginning with just a few essential items the range has expanded to include seven complete diversified product lines that nevertheless have a common theme: immediacy of form and modularity.

Zucchetti Hoop

With essential forms that are intuitive and functional, Hoop combines the unrivalled convenience of thermostatic mixers with modern, versatile, direct aesthetics. The push-button system makes it simple to turn the corresponding water on or off, selecting the desired output (hand shower, shower head, body jets or spout) while the thermostatic knob allows for easy, constant temperature regulation.
