Bathrooms In Focus – Highlights of 2023

Firstly we’d like to take this opportunity to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all in Bath House!

It’s been a year of fantastic new bathroom products. In this edition of Bathrooms In Focus we’re taking a look back at some that really caught our eye. Included are a number of prize winners from such prestigious events as the Design Plus, Red Dot and Iconic Awards. Enjoy!

Barber Osgerby uses the special materiality of Bette’s glazed titanium steel for perfectly minimalist design.

The new collection includes a bath and washbasins that harmonise with each other and at the same time fits perfectly into sophisticated bathroom architecture. Each product of the BetteSuno collection sets its own aesthetic accents.

The Nu collection from Roca represents a purity of visual expression and a synthesis of essential design elements: form, shape and colour.

The collection features three different handles – Pin, Dome and Stripes – that are “dyed” in six glossy colours inspired by Roca’s Mediterranean DNA; green, blue, yellow, black, white and chrome.

Laila is the new bathroom furniture concept designed by Scarabeo to complete the eclectic Moon washbasin collection. The range includes a large variety of figures characterized by a refined soul and generous dimensions.

From AXOR we highlight the Shower Pipe 800, along with Pulsify & Rainfinity/Raintunes by Hansgrohe and CleanLine 50 by Geberit. All of these products in the shower area impressed the judges with their clear lines and excellent build quality. Paired with smart and functional solutions offering intuitive controls, they turn the bathroom into an inspiring place of well-being.

Differing approaches, but all stunning. From Zucchetti The Beam, Palace by Laufen and MoonWake by Hansgrohe. With reference to traditional hygiene utensils Zucchetti incorporates the image of a bowl for their washbasin, while both Laufen and Hansgrohe use sweeping lines and gentle curves to merge the basin seamlessly into wide storage areas. While Palace is a reimaging of a classic, MoonWake with it’s single-walled thin structure is a modern visual accent in the bathroom

The judges were impressed with the clear, elegant appearance of the AquaClean Sela shower toilet by Geberit paired with it’s innovative technology meeting the highest standards for ease of use and hygiene. While they thought the In-Wash Ona by Roca is a thoughtful creation that combines an appealing shape with a contemporary range of functions

Bathrooms In Focus – Milan Design Week

Launched in Milan in 1961 as a vehicle for promoting Italian exports of furnishing and accessories, the Salone Internazionale del Mobile is the global benchmark event for the furnishing and design sector.

Initially as a subsection of the Salone, the International Bathroom Exhibition became an exhibition in its own right in 2006, reflecting the evolution of the domestic bathroom, formerly a strictly functional space, into a dedicated sanctuary for relaxation and wellness.

Zazzeri Q316 / Q316_sh Brassware Collections

The essential nature of design is expressed at it’s best in the new series Q316 from Zazzeri, a wide-ranging collection for your bathroom made of stainless steel AISI 316L.‎

This collection is in fact available in the brushed version of steel and in several PVD finishes in the variations Carbon, Charcoal grey, Bronze-copper, Copper, Cognac and White-gold.

Q316 & Q316_sh series offers the possibility to opt for a paddle shaped handle, flat and essential, or for the cylindric handle with a smooth finish which turns to be a full-fledged extension of the body of the mixer.‎
